Info: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember, but I never realized how my life would change the day I met Suke. Sally as she was originally called was brought to the Humane Society in terrible condition; badly matted, no training and scared of everyone and everything. It took her almost a year to trust me completely, but adopting her has been one of the best decisions of my life. Now, almost 2 and a half years later, Suke runs the household. She sleeps in my bed, begs for food and is full of love and affection. Not a day goes by that she doesn't make me laugh or love her even more. October 1, 2010 I found a lump on her right front leg. After surgery revealed that she had a fibre sarcoma, our next stop was the oncology centre. I don't know what the long term future holds for Suke, but I do know that thanks to help from ACTSS, Suke and I have more time together that she wouldn't have had without radiation treatment.
