Info: Rudy is one of the first pets that ACTSS has subsidized to be treated with radiation therapy at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine's (WCVM) new Pet Cancer Center, opened in 2004. Rudy developed lymphoma, cancer of the lymph nodes. Rudy's mom not only insured that Rudy received the necessary chemotherapy to put his cancer into remission, she then arranged for him to receive half body radiation at WCVM. Half body radiation is likely to keep the cancer in the lymph nodes in remission longer than chemotherapy alone. Rudy and his mom are an amazing team.
